I started in the computer industry with the old ZX81 machines in a year that far back I wouldn't like to remember & there I fell in love with everything computers, from the ZX81 I moved on to the ZX Spectrum, BBC, Commodore 64 & finally on to the PC as we know it.

Spending many years building & repairing hardware & software issues as a hobby for family & friends I sat one day & it hit me after spending nearly £2000 on a little desktop PC from Radio Rentals in Billingham that this machine needed to earn its keep.

And so I tinkered with the ideas of websites on the newly created infrastructure known as the world wide web whilst living in Tenerife I worked part time for a company in the internets infancy building my skills & self teaching myself PHP & HTML, Progressing to E-commerce solutions & Smarty & finally CSS.

I applied to DMOZ for editor status for a category in the lingerie sector as I built my wife's lingerie website and got accepted & have been an editor for the last 5 years, so know the techniques used in getting the submission correct for the best possible chance of being listed.

I no longer do computer repairs I left that to my son who looks after the hardware side of things now & I spend my days working on the many websites in our portfolio improving methods & keeping up to date with the never ending changes Google likes to make, keeping our clients up to date on changes to keep their websites in the best possible position in the search rankings.
